In which HQ isn't large enough for everyone... [Part 1: Sleeping]
A finite number of bunks means they sleep in shifts, or sometimes together.
Maya won’t hesitate to share with Gaige or Hazard, but when Sal tried to climb in her bunk there was a new dent in the safe soon after. He didn’t try that again.
Mordecai will sleep anywhere, they usually find him slumped over a console on the verge of falling out of the chair he’s in. Lilith’s had to stop Tina from playing pranks on him multiple times.
Zero disappears for hours at a time whenever they’re in Sanctuary for a while. Everyone just assumes he’s sleeping somewhere since they never see him sleep otherwise.
No one is crazy enough to sleep downstairs with Tannis experimenting all the time.
Brick will sleep on the couch sometimes, but has no problems sleeping in random places. Once Sal tripped on him in the middle of the hallway and then proceeded to fall down the stairs.
Axton will claim a bunk and sleep short intervals. Maya asked him about it once, and he claimed it was a leftover habit from his military days.
Lilith will sleep wherever, but when she craves some peace she goes back to her lair in Frostburn Canyon.
There’s an unspoken, unanimous agreement that Tannis never sleeps. They’re 99.9% sure of it.
Salvadore can fall asleep on the drop of a dime whenever and wherever he can. He also sleeps like the dead. The group isn’t sure if that’s a good or bad thing.
Gaige is a typical teenager, she’s up all night working on DT or doing something in Scooters garage. There’s been a few times where they’ll get an ECHO to come pick her up in the wee hours of the morning after she’s fallen asleep in a puddle of oil or grease.
The guard downstairs falls asleep all the time. Gaige, Tina, and Brick have come up with a game where they throw dud grenades in the street and yell “OH NO, IT’S GONNA BLOW!” just to see him wake up and dive for cover. One time Tina threw a live grenade that ended in a trip over to Zed’s. He hates his job now.
